Polestar is launching its third vehicle, the Polestar 3. It is an SUV built on the all-electric technology platform developed by Volvo Cars and shared with Polestar. The vehicle has an Nvidia chip. In addition, the software platform Android Automotive is added.
At launch, all variants will feature a rear-wheel drive, twin-engine powertrain with electric torque vectoring via a dual-clutch system on the rear electric motor. There is also an adaptive two-chamber air suspension and active shock absorbers. The dampers can be adjusted to the road conditions every two milliseconds.
The vehicle is offered with an optional performance package that allows a maximum output of 380 kW and 910 Nm.
There is no information about the battery yet. It is said to offer a range of 600 km, but Polestar has not yet announced how large it is.
